IPS Nordic and the UN Sustainable Development Goals
At IPS Nordic, we want to contribute to more sustainable development. We have chosen to support UN Sustainable Development Goals 3, 8, 11, 12 and 13 because they are directly relevant to our responsibilities for the working environment, operations and environmental impact.
We work continuously to provide a safe and positive workplace. This includes an active working environment organisation and employee benefits such as health insurance.
We also work to reduce the environmental and climate impact of our day-to-day operations. Two vehicles have been replaced with an electric vehicle and a gas-powered vehicle, and we prioritise digital meetings whenever possible to reduce travel. We are also increasing awareness of resource use, waste management and environmental considerations throughout the business.
Our selected goals
Good Health and Well-being
This goal is about ensuring health and well-being for all. IPS Nordic contributes through its focus on a safe working environment, an active working environment organisation and good health benefits for employees.
Decent Work and Economic Growth
This goal includes good working conditions and a safe working environment. IPS Nordic works to provide fair conditions, workplace safety and a positive working environment for all employees.
Sustainable Cities and Communities
This goal includes reducing environmental impact and contributing to more sustainable communities. IPS Nordic supports this through lower-emission transport solutions and reduced travel.
Responsible Consumption and Production
This goal is about more efficient resource use and less waste. IPS Nordic is increasing awareness of resource consumption, waste management and environmental considerations in daily operations.
Climate Action
This goal is about reducing greenhouse gas emissions and supporting climate-friendly solutions. IPS Nordic works to reduce its footprint through lower-emission vehicles and increased use of digital meetings.
Through these measures, IPS Nordic aims to operate more responsibly and sustainably while continuing to develop its work on climate, the environment and the working environment.
